Whether you're casting a line for shore fishing, meandering along the shoreline in search of seashells, or immersing yourself in the invigorating embrace of the saltwater waves, the beach offers a myriad of delights for vacationers. Relaxation takes center stage as you recline under the warm rays, indulging in the soothing rhythm of the ocean waves.
Venturing beyond the tranquil shores, a visit to nearby Port St. Joe provides an array of shopping, dining, and entertainment. Wander through the quaint streets of downtown along Reid Avenue, where charming boutiques and eateries await exploration. Be sure to delve into the rich maritime heritage at the historical Lighthouse and Sea Turtle Museum, a testament to the community's deep-rooted love for these majestic creatures. Just a stone's throw away lies Mexico Beach, offering its own assortment of culinary delights and retail therapy, ensuring every moment in Port St. Joe is infused with coastal allure and boundless adventure.
Parking: Includes parking for 3 vehicles.
Pet policy: This property is not pet-friendly and is an animal-free zone due to severe allergies. If you bring a pet to this home, an automatic charge of $500 will be imposed and/or you will be asked to vacate the home immediately.
Golf cart: No
Linens and supplies: All bed and bath linens are supplied, as well as all cookware, dinnerware and glassware in the kitchen. We also provide an initial supply of paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, dish soap, bath soap, laundry detergent, fabric softener and dishwasher detergent.
Beach gear and recreation equipment: To make your vacation more enjoyable and less stressful, your reservation includes a $250 credit toward any amount of quality beach gear. Your gear will be delivered the day you check in and will be ready to use immediately. Examples of items you may rent include, but are not limited to, beach chairs, umbrellas, kayaks, paddleboards and bikes.
Age requirement: Minimum age limit to rent this home is 25 years old.
Credit card fee: All payments are subject to a 3.25% credit card processing fee.
Rental agreement: A signed rental agreement is required upon booking.
Monthly rentals: SNOWBIRDS WELCOME! Monthly rental rates are available during the winter season, November through early March. Please contact Sunshine Vacation Rentals if you are interested.
Cancellation policy: We strongly encourage our guests to purchase the optional travel insurance to protect your vacation investment. All reservations include an administrative fee of $35 (plus taxes) upon booking, which is non-refundable in the event of a reservation cancellation. Credit card processing fees will be charged upon cancellation, which is equal to 3.25% of all payments made.
Reservations canceled at least 60 days before the check-in date will receive a 100% refund, minus cancellation fees. Reservations canceled between 30 to 60 days before check-in date will receive a 50% refund, minus cancellation fees. Reservations canceled less than 30 days before check-in date will result in forfeiture of the full advance rental payments and any other payments.
Area construction disclaimer: Our beautiful area has been under reconstruction since being struck by Hurricane Michael in 2018. While we strive to give you an accurate representation in our photos, we cannot guarantee that new construction near your rental hasn’t begun since our photos were taken.

This house was amazing for our fall break. Beautifully decorated, like new with modern amenities, very comfortable and clean, and a very short walk to the beach. We spent our time relaxing, fishing, and walking on the beach. I can’t recommend this property enough and definitely plan to stay here in the future!

We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful beach house! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning ocean view and the beautiful interior of the house. The open layout and modern beach decor made us feel right at home. The hosts have definitely thought of everything! The kitchen was fully stocked with absolutely everything we needed to cook meals. The extra ice maker was super convenient for filling our beach cooler and making those special frozen drinks! We spent hours lounging on the beach and swimming in the crystal-clear water. The house has so many games and puzzles to choose from when you’ve had enough sun for the day. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Every bedroom has a bathroom which was great! The host was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. We can't recommend this beach house enough and can't wait to come back again soon! Thank you for an unforgettable vacation.

The Dune Buggie was the perfect place for our family to get away for a few nights to enjoy the beach. The house is beautifully decorated and the layout of the house is wonderful! Everyone had their own bathroom attached to their bedrooms. The kitchen, dining and living areas are one big open space which made it great to all be together while cooking, playing cards and hanging out. The kitchen is a chef’s dream and has every single thing ever needed! We loved the screened porch in the back of the house and the front porch was perfect for watching the amazing sunsets!! The attention to detail in making guests comfortable was unmatched. 10/10 for sure! We hope to visit the Dune Buggie again soon!

Loved our stay at the Dune Buggie! I wasn’t sure what the beach access would be like, but it’s literally right across the street, so it’s super convenient. Plus, there’s a thick mesh surface to walk on to the beach. No slugging it across the sand. As for the house, I’ve never stayed in a cuter AirBnB. The decor was so whimsical and inviting. Felt like a vacation from the moment we walked in. The home was very well stocked, and the sweet host even left travel sized containers of shampoo/conditioner, toothpaste, and spray sunscreen in the bathrooms. Super thoughtful. Sunsets from the porch are stunning. Location was perfect. Just 10 minutes to downtown Port St Joe with lots of restaurants and cute shops. We loved it all so much. Wish we had more days!

We cannot wait to book another stay at The Dune Buggie! The home is so beautiful and stylish, which added to our enjoyment. The beach view is perfect - unobstructed and an easy walk to the sand and surf. We were so impressed with the cleanliness and how every detail was addressed. A professional chef could not ask for a better kitchen with all the elements on hand. As much as we enjoyed the interior of the home, we spent a lot of time on the front porch and the screened porch - and we watched sunsets from the side deck. Perfection!

We had the most wonderful week at The Dune Buggie! The house is fantastic - in every way - the decor is stylish and upscale, the kitchen is perfectly stocked and the beach gear is abundant, and the location is amazing. We sat on the front porch for coffee in the morning watching the ocean, the screened porch when it rained one afternoon, and the side deck to watch the sunsets. And the walk to the beach took 2 minutes tops. All those elements added up to the most relaxing and enjoyable week we've had in ages. I cannot WAIT to rebook The Dune Buggie for our next vacation!
