The “Pink Flamingo'' is a modern, immaculate 3BD/2BA coastal home located in a quiet, family friendly neighborhood! For your furry friends, this home is pet-friendly and has a fenced in yard! Community pool!
For MULTI FAMILIES, we have four other homes in this neighborhood - Stella Maris, Out of the Blue, Tropical Retreat and Ocean's Heaven.

Property Description: As you enter this one level home, you are greeted with an open concept floor plan living/dining/ kitchen area. The fun Pink Flamingo decor and new furnishings welcome you to the beach and will make you feel right at home. The living room offers a large sectional couch and accent chair, a 50 inch smart TV, luxury vinyl plank flooring, and elegant lighting over the high top kitchen table that seats 6 people. The kitchen is fully stocked for all your cooking needs and includes a 2 in 1 normal drip and k-cup coffee maker. The laundry room is equipped with a washer and dryer and the garage has beach gear and a gas grill available for use. Kick back and take in the warm salty air on the furnished front porch.
As you venture down the main hallway, you will find the guest bedrooms and bath. The first guest room will offer 2 new comfortable twin beds, the second guest room will offer a new comfortable queen bed and plenty of closet space. The guest bath has a single vanity and a shower/tub combo. The large master suite offers a brand new comfortable king bed and 44 inch smart tv, and an en-suite bath with a double vanity, custom shower, water closet, and large walk-in closet. This home is set up for you to have the perfect beach vacation!

Area Information: When you are ready to venture to the beach, you'll find paradise in less than 5 minutes! Whether you enjoy combing the beach for shells, snorkeling, kayaking, sun-bathing, surfing waves, fishing, or taking a leisurely stroll along the shoreline, you'll spend hours of fun while soaking up the sun. For the fishing enthusiast, book your family on a fishing charter day trip out on the water to catch your dinner.
When you are ready to venture out, visit nearby Port St. Joe for shopping, restaurants and entertainment. Downtown offers cute shops along Reid Avenue, many restaurants and grocery stores. Don't forget to check out the historical Lighthouse and Sea Turtle Museum. We love our sea turtles! Mexico Beach is just a few miles away and offers restaurants and shops. There's so many options to do without crowds or traffic!
Parking: Driveway accommodates 2 vehicles. NO BOAT PARKING ALLOWED IN THIS NEIGHBORHOOD. No parking on the street.
Pet Friendly: This home is pet-friendly, and allows up to 2 dogs. If you choose to bring a pet, a charge of $125 plus tax will be added to your reservation after you book.
Linens/Supplies: All bed and bath linens are supplied as well as all cookware/dinnerware/glassware in the kitchen. We also provide an initial supply of paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, dish soap, bath soap, laundry detergent, fabric softener, and dishwasher detergent.
Beach Gear: Some of our properties have beach gear onsite (chairs, umbrellas, toys, etc.); however, there is no guarantee as these items come and go throughout the year.
Age Requirement: Minimum age limit to rent this home is 25 years old.
Security cameras: Exterior cameras are on the premises.
Credit card fee: All payments processed are subject to a 3.25% credit card processing fee.
Rental Agreement: A signed Rental Agreement is required upon booking.
Monthly Rental: SNOWBIRDS WELCOME! Monthly rental rates are available during the winter season. Please send a message to the property manager if you are interested.
Cancellation Policy: We strongly encourage our guests to purchase the optional travel insurance to protect your vacation investment. All reservations include an administrative fee of $35 (plus taxes) upon booking which is non-refundable in the event of a reservation cancellation. Credit cards processing fees will be charged upon cancellation which is equal to 3.25% of all payments made.
Reservations canceled at least 60 days before check-in date will receive a 100% refund, minus cancellation fees. Reservations canceled between 30 to 60 days before check-in date will receive a 50% refund, minus cancellation fees. Reservations canceled less than 30 days before check-in date will result in forfeiture of the full advance rental payments and any other payments.
Area construction disclaimer: Our beautiful area has been under reconstruction since Hurricane Michael in 2018. We have come a long way since then, but there is still a considerable amount of new construction going on in the area. While we strive to give you an accurate representation in our photos, we cannot guarantee that new construction near your rental hasn’t begun since our photos were taken.

Amy as a very responsive host. The kitchen had all necessary items for cooking at home if you choose. The house was nicely decorated in her pink flamingo theme. We were pleased with our stay. The only drawback is the house is located in a HOA.

This home was exactly as advertised. Very attractive and spacious. The neighborhood was very quiet and safe. Mexico Beach is a perfect gateway for families looking for a break from the tourist crowds and this home was a gem.

The pink flamingo house was beautiful! Very large to accommodate our family. Every basic necessity was there! Even pool toys and pool towels. The backyard is fenced in and beautiful for your pup. They even have dog towels! The pool was also beautiful. Hardly anyone was there- a few residents. The neighborhood is very quiet. At the end of a cul-de-sac. If you have any questions you can text the number they provide. They only give you limited number of detergent for washing and dishwashing pods- so you might want to bring extra. The golf cart was great to go to the pool, however, you can’t take it across to the beach. It costs $35 a day to use the golf cart. Way worth it- to avoid sand and a wet car. All in all we very much enjoyed our stay! If you’re looking for action, Port St Joe is 10 miles away. Great food!

Clean and well stocked home in a quiet neighborhood very close to the beach. They had a pack n play and other supplies for infants/ children. We also brought our two dogs (the yard is not fenced but is well kept and the dogs enjoyed walking around the small neighborhood). We rented the golf cart which made for an easy trip to the beach and the community pool. Would stay here again.

We were the first guests to ever stay at the Pink Flamingo. We were double booked by Airbnb, and offered this home as an alternative to the one e had booked. I am so thankful for that! Renee is an outstanding host! She is always available to answer any question or address any concerns, and is extremely accommodating! We have returned to the Pink Flamingo several times since that Forest stay, and every visit is just as perfect as that first stay was in that brand be home. It is always exceptionally clean, cozy and guaranteed to be well stocked with everything necessary to make your stay as convenient as possible. The Pink Flamingo has become our beach vacation “home away from home” and we plan to continue to make it a tradition in our family to visit for many years to come!

This place was perfect for my husband and I. This is probably the cleanest Airbnb I've ever rented. Literally, white glove clean. I couldn't find a fingerprint anywhere. So kudos to the cleaning crew. Very comfortable home with lots of amenities with plenty of beach gear to spend a great day at Mexico Beach. The beach is gorgeous and a short 10min walk. Crooked Island beach is a short 10min drive away and equally beautiful. We had a small issue in the kitchen that was dealt with lightening fast efficiency. Highly recommend this lovely home and look forward to returning.

This was our first visit to Mexico beach so expectations were a little up in the air. The house was fantastic. Clean and ready when we arrived. The neighborhood was quiet and close to the beach as advertised. You could drive, walk or make it easy and rent the golf car as we did. Very convenient. The food options in town were limited but Port St Joe and Cape San Blas are close by car with more to choose from. We will definitely be back! Quiet town, plenty of space on the beach and great views driving down the coast.

The Pink Flamingo was in a great location, quiet neighborhood and close to the beach. The home had everything we needed, aside from some staples such as more than one trash bag, so read the fine lines and pack some extras! We had a great time in Mexico Beach and would definitely visit again.

This house has it all! Wonderful amenities, great access to a golf cart, lots of beach gear, close to everything, but also quiet and relaxing! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to come back! One of the nicest places we’ve stayed at the beach. They thought of everything!

I rented this out for some employees working out of town. The house was as advertised and the property management company were good to deal with. Would rent again.

Love Sunshine Rentals, Pink Flamingo. It was beautifully decorated and very comfortable, weather was very warm and we enjoyed walking the neighborhood. The owners were very helpful with our questions. Sunshine Rentals are always very accommodating and quick to respond to our questions.

This home is amazing. It has everything you need. It is super clean! The Pink Flamingo still smells new! It has the perfect floor plan for groups large and small. This is our third trip to Mexico Beach in the past year. This is the first time we stayed in a place that was not steps away from the water. Even though the Pink Flamingo is not directly on the water it was super easy 1 minute drive with either a car or golf cart to the beach. Not a bad walk either if you pack light for the beach. Ample parking was available in front of the Centinal Bank. We had the community pool to ourselves daily. The neighbors of the Pink Flamingo were the most welcoming people you have ever met. You could tell they were happy to have us visiting their town and neighborhood. One neighbor even offered us tips for our stay. The only regret that we had was having to leave. Communication was outstanding, property was impeccable, experience was amazing. We will be back.

Our family (two parents, one grandmother, one 7 year old boy) had an incredible stay at the Pink Flamingo. The home is very spacious! The three bedrooms and beds were comfortable and adorably decorated. Each had a very spacious closet and dresser. There were a good assortment of kitchen items even if extra storage was a bit limited there. The outdoor shower was nice to wash off the sand before coming in. We enjoyed renting the golf cart to get around to the nearby market and liquor store. By the time we left we felt like locals. It is unfortunate that they do not allow the golf cart across Highway 98, but we made due parking very close then just toting our things across the two Lane road to the beach. (And clearly this was not unique to our golf cart, the rule is from the city.) The pool area was tidy and accommodating. They have a closet full of pool toys and clean restrooms. We had a minor issue with the kitchen sink (possibly user error) but they were quick to come sort it out for us. Mexico Beach is a charming small town. We were thrilled to leave behind the crowds and traffic of the Destin area. We always felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves. They are still rebuilding after Hurricane Michael, so many of the lunch places were food truck style. But the food we had was also fresh and amazing! We will definitely be back.

This location was very nice for us as a family of 4. Plenty of room, very clean, and host was very responsive to questions. While it is located within distance to Mexico Beach we also found it to be a good midpoint if you want to take a drive to the Port and up to Cape San Blas. Would stay again. Great to see this area building back up the way it is!
Very cozy and clean home. Came down to view some homes and consider a move here. Loved the area and people. ❤️
